Recipient of the Maryland Award of Excellence “MAX” for Outstanding Custom Homes, and the Award of Excellence from the Home Builders Association of Maryland, Rauser Professional Contracting (RPC) is a family-owned and operated business, founded in 1981 by Bill Rauser and Bob Rauser.

The company principals are Bill Patteson and Corinne Patteson. Completing the management team are co-founders Bill and Bob Rauser, project manager Amy Gounaris and six lead carpenters out in the field.

The RPC team brings more than 75 years of collective design and build expertise to a “team” comprised of you (the client), the architect, and RPC. That expertise complements the client’s vision and architect’s skills to ensure that the construction of the dream becomes a reality as creatively and cost-effectively as possible.

As a member of the team, RPC not only makes construction-related recommendations, but also offers many “alternatives” to meet a client’s budget without sacrificing the vision.

In addition, they provide a complimentary one-year inspection and life-time waranty on all work...all part of the “The RPC Difference”.

To clients, this simply means, the RPC experience and quality is second to none. The company’s post-project client survey, which measures quality, responsiveness, and satisfaction, has consistently averaged a 9.75 on a scale of 1-10.

To ensure this quality, RPC has a company principal oversee each job –focusing on every detail so you can relax, and even enjoy the process, instead of feeling overwhelmed and experiencing the stress often associated with building projects.

The company is a member of the Home Builders Association of Maryland where co founder Bill Rauser and Bill Patteson are members of the Remodelors Council Board of Directors. Bill Rauser was the President of the Council for 2007.

The company was licensed as a sole proprietorship by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (#15495) and by the Office of the Attorney General Home Builder Registration Unit (MHBR #229) until 2007 when it became a corporation licensed under MHIC# 95592 and MHBR# 5811. RPC is insured by Selective Insurance Companies.
