RPC Is There When Clients Are Ready
When searching for a qualified builder to build your new home, it is commonplace for the search to end with the recommendation of a friend or family member who has had prior experience with a particular builder.
This was the case when Dr. Jack Wapner consulted a friend in the building supply business for a recommendation for a contractor to build his new home. Knowing the quality of products and the reputation of the builder, the friend recommended Rauser Professional Contracting without hesitation.
Despite the recommendations of other friends, Jack didn’t interview anyone else; he says that he and Bill Rauser hit it off right from the start. Rauser built his home, everyone loved it, and even Jack’s brother who is an engineer couldn’t find anything wrong with it.
After taking time to enjoy his new home for three or four years, Jack decided he wanted to make some modifications. He called Rauser and a library, master suite, and sitting room were added. He says, “Amazingly, they were able to make the (1,400-square foot) addition blend into the rest of the stone house that was built four years earlier.”
This would not be the last meeting between Jack and Rauser. After Jack got married it was time for another addition—2 bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and a bath on the top floor, plus a sunroom on the first floor. This addition also blended well into the rest of the home, bringing their total square footage to more than 6,500-square feet.
Soon thereafter, the new Mrs. Wapner wanted to revamp the “bachelor” kitchen. To that end, Rauser built an addition out toward the pool with commercial-quality appliances, a huge granite island, and a breathtaking view of the backyard through three glass walls.
Finally, Jack had a three-car garage built to store his “toys.” And, it, too, blends perfectly into the rest of the house because Rauser was careful to hire the same stone mason and subcontractors who made everything look like it was built at the same time.
According to Jack, Rauser did every single job and made it “pure fun” with no hassles. He said that it seems everyone he knows is upset with a contractor who did this or that...but not him. He adds that he would never consider another contractor—they were “in sync” and got a great value and laughs when he tells you his house is featured on the contractor’s home page.
